Miss Michelle was a competitive swimmer for 10 years. She started swimming at the age of 8 on the Glen Ridge swim team. She was also a member of the SVY and SHY swim teams. In high school, Miss Michelle swam on the varsity swim team and specialized in the 500 freestyle, 100 breaststroke, 200 IM, and 200 freestyle. In addition, she coached the swim team at Glen Ridge swim club for four summers and taught swimming lessons there too. After graduating from the University of Delaware in 2004 with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education, she began her career as a kindergarten teacher in Basking Ridge where she has been teaching for the past five years. Miss Michelle absolutely loves working with kids whether they are in the pool or in the classroom! Miss Michelle also enjoys going to the beach, working out at the gym, dancing, and spending time with her husband Drew, their dog Lucky, and friends.
