Mr. Carl was a competitive swimmer for fourteen years. He swam for the Montclair Dolphins and Bergen Catholic High School. Mr. Carl swam for the University of Miami for two years as well. He graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor's degree in Marine Science and Biology. Mr. Carl has been with Njswim since April of 2007, where he is the Director of Operations and manages the website. He has attended swim school conferences in Costa Mesa California, Miami Florida, and San Antonio Texas.
He holds certification as an Open Water, Advanced Open Water, and NITROX Diver. He is a Class A Tree faller through the Department of the Interior. Mr. Carl got married in August 2010, and he and his wife live in Nutley and love to travel. His hobbies include SCUBA diving, surfing, Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, backpacking, playing guitar and doing home repairs.
